about My intention in art is to produce images of ambiguity, openness, transparency and beauty. The ambiguity might be more obvious in my installations, than in my paintings. I prefer to work serially and thematic – with different expressions and material solutions supporting the basic idea, for example a combination of installation and painting. The titles of my work are chosen, to underline the ambiguity and the concept. When working with acrylic and oil on canvas, aluminium or plexi, I aim at transparency in thin, overlapping layers. Colors and nuances are basic, in expressing my ideas. I am born, live and work in Oslo, Norway.
